Subject:                                         9-7-26 THOUGHTS

 

Me... speaking edifying words each moment?  Lord help us!  We've been given God's Spirit, we must live as accepting of His presence for our growth.  Many things are not acceptable to our character and behavior and must be put away.  Verse 32  will "CENTER' our lives.  Our forgiveness in Christ is the appeal.  

Eph 4:29-32    Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.  30  Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31  Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.  32  Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has  forgiven you.

Our Prayer:
We praise You O God of our hope.  Thank You for our forgiveness in Christ Jesus.  May we know the freedom of forgiveness, as we forgive others.  Teach us always to be kind and tender-hearted.  Help us to love as You love, dear Father.  Thank You for love.   In the name of our Lord,   Amen.
